Authentic Nemadji vase in Browns, orange, swirl colors with an original stamp. Made from clays of the Nemadji riverbed were made by the children of the Scandinavian immigrants and first produced in 1923 in Moose Lake, Minnesota. The interior of the pot is glazed. The last Nemadji Pottery was produced in 2002. The name “Nemadji” is an Ojibwe word meaning “left-handed”. Eric Hellman, a Nemadji employee, and Danish immigrant came up with the idea to decorate the vases using simple house paint.

No chips or cracks. The last photo shows a slightly worn spot.
