Made from clays of the Nemadji riverbed were made by the children of the Scandinavian immigrants and first produced in 1923 in Moose Lake, Minnesota. The interior of the pot is glazed. The last Nemadji Pottery was produced in 2002. The name “Nemadji” is an Ojibwe word meaning “left-handed”. Eric Hellman, a Nemadji employee, and Danish immigrant came up with the idea to decorate the vases using simple house paint.

Looks to have a flaw in the production of this pot. It also use to hold pens and pencils. A few minor scuffs. Please look at all photos. It has been cleaned and ready for you to use.
